[IIOE2-EP03] Research Moored Array for African-Asian-Australian Monsoon Analysis and Prediction (RAMA)

The multi-institutional cruise SK-335 was taken up in the Equatorial Indian Ocean on board ORV Sagar Kanya of the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India, as a part of the multi-platform long-term Indian Ocean Observation System. During the cruise, the following activities were successfully completed:
- Deployment of two RAMA buoys and recovery of three RAMA and three ADCP buoys.
- CTD profiles at every RAMA and ADCP buoy locations.
- Deployment of five ARGO floats (3- Argo Telemetry and 2- Bio Argo) along the Ship track.
- Deployment of three drifters.
The participants included scientists from INCOIS-Hyderabad, NIO-Goa, NCAOR-GOA and NOAA-PMEL.
