Silver Award for PORSEC MOOC-2021
Dr. Nimit Kumar (Scientist, INCOIS) has been serving as PORSEC (Pan-Ocean Remote Sensing Conference) board member since 2017 as Executive Secretary, and Chair for Membership, Education & Outreach. In this role, he led first ever PORSEC MOOC, and a successful APNGCR grant that supported students' participation to the tutorial.
The MOOC (Ocean Remote Sensing Toward Climate Resilience) has won IUCEL-2021 silver award.
