Inauguration of RSS Feeds for High Wave Alerts
A new dissemination service, RSSFeeds for High Wave Alerts has been launched by Dr Madhavan Nair Rajeevan, Secretary, MoES during the GC Meeting held on 24th August, 2016 at ESSO-INCOIS.
A brief description about RSS Feeds
- RSS feeds enables INCOIS to syndicate High Wave and Wave Surge Alerts.
- A standard XML file format ensures compatibility with many different machines/programs.
- RSS feeds also benefit users who want to receive timely updates from INCOIS Website.
Instructions for Subscription of RSS Feeds for High Wave Alerts
- Install RSS Reader
- Open RSS Reader
- Add New Link with Title "High Wave Alerts" and URL "/rss/highwavealert"
- Refresh the RSS Reader
- Get uninterrupted updates on High Waves.
